Is therapy confidential?Yes, client confidentiality is a top priority. While we prioritize and uphold strict confidentiality, there are legal and ethical limitations. These include situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, instances of child or elder abuse, or if a court subpoenas your records. We are committed to transparent communication about any necessary disclosures, prioritizing your safety and well-being.

What is your policy for no-shows and late cancellations?We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. For no-shows or late cancellations, a cancellation fee may apply.

What are the LCSW supervision requirements in Georgia?The license requires 3 years of post-masters experience under supervision from a qualified LCSW, with 120 hours of documented supervision (50% of which may be group supervision).

Do I need my LMSW to begin supervision?You do not need to have your Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license to start working toward your LCSW, but it is generally suggested to obtain the LMSW first to streamline the process.
